Once you have finished completing your application, please refer to the checklist on the final section of this form to ensure all components have been addressed and that you have uploaded your First Aid and Insurance Certificates. Once you submit your completed application you will receive an electronic copy of your online application for your records and a copy will be forwarded to the assessment coordinator. If you do not receive this or have any questions, please contact our Assessment Coordinator, Jeanette Rukavina – assessment@iyengaryoga.asn.au.

Please observe word limits. For example Level 1 is a maximum 1,000 words in total for assignment questions. Practice & Pranayama is not included in word count.

Re-state each question before giving your answer.

Assignment answers should be typed in 12-point Arial font and 1.5 spaced.

Note on Assessment Application Fee

Upon receipt of your online application you will be issued an electronic invoice for your Assessment Fee. Payment is made via the IYA Member Portal (a link to this invoice will be provided in the email). You can pay it online by using a debit / credit card or by bank deposit transfer. Payment is to be made in full by the Applications Closing Date.

Assessment Checklist

1. I am a current member of Iyengar Yoga Australia (IYA) and my membership is financially up to date(Required)
Note- Level 1 candidates require a minimum of 12 months membership
2. I have a Referral/Validation e-submitted by my Training Teacher(Required)
3. I have professional liability insurance(Required)
Note – The Insurance must be current at the time of the assessment and a PDF copy of the Certificate of Currency is attached above. OR My professional liability insurance expires before the date of assessment and I will email the updated policy and send through The Certificate of Currency to the Assessment Co-Ordinator a week prior to the date of assessment.
4. I have a CPR / First Aid Certificate(Required)
Note -The Certificate must be current at the time of the Assessment and a PDF copy attached above. OR I will be renewing my CPR / First Aid Certificate and I will email the updated certificate to the Assessment Co-Ordinator a week prior to the date of assessment.
5. Assessment Application Fee(Required)
After submitting my online application I understand that I will receive an invoice for my Assessment Application Fee and that I will be paying this online using a debit/credit card. I undertake to pay this in full by the Applications Closing Date.
